Getting a seat in the Lakers’ newly introduced courtside section won’t be affordable.

While the team hasn’t released an official price, officials mentioned to the California Post that these seats will cost around 78 percent of the regular price for courtside rows.

Playoff tickets usually range from $20,000 to $40,000. So, one can expect each new seat to fall between $15,000 and $30,000.

On Thursday morning, the Lakers revealed their new revenue strategy, introducing a second courtside-row section called “Courtside Reserve” for the upcoming playoff games at Crypto.com Arena.

They’ve assured fans that these seats come with “top-notch hospitality, offering in-seat food and drink service, access to VIP clubs, and a seamless, premium experience from entry to the arena.”

For those interested in securing seats, the Lakers have set up an online Courtside Reserve Seat Application Form.

Despite the high price tag, many Lakers supporters have long coveted this prime seating area. It has attracted a lineup of celebrities over the years, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Denzel Washington, and Jack Nicholson.

The team’s first playoff opponent remains a mystery, and it’s uncertain whether stars like Luka Doncic or Austin Reeves will be playing.

All in all, fans eager to enjoy the game up close will need to have quite a bit of cash on hand.
