Robbery at Hollywood Hills Mansion

A lavish mansion in the Hollywood Hills was robbed on Saturday night, resulting in one person getting injured during a confrontation with the burglars.

Upon returning home from dinner, the homeowners found two suspects ransacking their $8.6 million property after hearing their dog barking. One resident, a man in his 70s, sustained some bruises while trying to intervene but fortunately didn’t require hospitalization.

Outside, families were seen embracing each other in shock after the incident.

A neighbor captured footage of several individuals jumping over a fence and escaping in what seemed to be a Kia sedan.

The police reported that the suspects were identified as two Black men.

Emergency services, including the Los Angeles Police Department and Fire Department, arrived promptly at the scene. They called for a helicopter to assist in the search as more officers poured in.

The burglars made off with approximately $88,000 in cash and watches.

In a related incident on the same day, a different mansion in Sherman Oaks, valued at around $5 million, was targeted by masked robbers. The homeowners had just secured their property after a previous break-in when they found themselves victimized again.

The latest break-in occurred through a shattered glass door, although it’s still unclear what exactly was taken.

It’s uncertain whether these two robberies are connected.
