Meghan Trainor Cancels Tour Plans

Meghan Trainor has decided to pause her upcoming tour plans, putting family priorities first.

In a surprising announcement, Trainor shared that she will not be moving forward with her scheduled “Get in Girl Tour.” She took to her Instagram Story to reveal the news, mentioning that balancing her new album release, preparing for a national tour, and welcoming a new baby girl into her family was just too much. “I need to stay home and be present for everyone at this time,” she wrote.

She expressed feeling conflicted but ultimately felt it was the right choice for her family. “After much reflection and some really tough conversations, I have made the difficult decision,” she added.

Trainor and her husband, Daryl Sabara, welcomed their third child via surrogate back in January. It seems like she’s been grappling with how to juggle her career and her growing family, and this decision wasn’t taken lightly.

While acknowledging that this news might disappoint her fans, she expressed genuine remorse. “I know this will be a disappointment to my fans and I am truly sorry for letting them down,” she commented. Yet she reassured them, saying, “I promise I’ll be back soon. I can’t wait for you all to hear this new record.” She seems really proud of it and is grateful for all the support she receives.

Trainor’s seventh studio album, “Toy With Me,” is set to come out on April 24th, and despite the challenges, she’s clearly excited about it.

Recently, Trainor faced some backlash regarding her use of a surrogate for her pregnancy. Addressing this, she seemed overwhelmed and emotional during an appearance on a podcast. She reflected on the negative attention, admitting to feeling anxious and upset.
