Trump Hints at Upcoming UFO Disclosure from Pentagon
President Donald Trump announced that information from the Pentagon’s research on UFOs is expected to be released “very soon.” This statement was made during a rally organized by Turning Point USA at Dream City Church in northern Phoenix on Friday night. Trump expressed that he believed the people of Arizona were particularly interested in the topic.
His remarks come amid a growing intrigue regarding unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) in Washington, as lawmakers push for more transparency and the Pentagon broadens its investigations into these mysterious incidents.
“I thought this was a good audience because I know you guys are really interested in it. I don’t know if I am,” the president admitted to the crowd.
Trump mentioned discussions with Army Secretary Pete Hegseth about releasing findings to the public, teasing the audience with comments about what he had seen. “I have to say we found a lot of very interesting documents,” he noted. “And the first release is coming soon. So go out and see if that’s true.” He seemed eager for feedback, adding, “You’ll understand. Please tell me. But we had a lot of questions. It’s really fascinating, there’s no question about it.”
Earlier this year, in February, Trump stated his intention to direct the release of government files on aliens, extraterrestrials, and UAPs, indicating a significant public interest in the matter. This interest was notably heightened following comments from former President Barack Obama regarding classified information suggesting the existence of aliens.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed, “Based on the significant interest expressed, I will direct the Secretary of the Army and other relevant departments to begin the process of identifying and releasing government files related to aliens and extraterrestrials, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any other information related to these very complex but very interesting and important issues.” He concluded with a patriotic touch, “God bless America!”
In recent years, the interest in UAPs has surged, leading to increased attention from lawmakers and defense officials. This escalation culminated in the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure Act, which Congress enacted in 2023, and the establishment of the Office of All-Specific Anomaly Resolution by the Department of Defense. These initiatives aim to investigate these incidents more thoroughly.
