Ladder Match Highlights at WrestleMania 42
Las Vegas – The Intercontinental Championship ladder match featuring six of WWE’s top stars was undeniably one of the standout moments of WrestleMania 42.
Penta aimed to leave Las Vegas as the champion. To achieve this, he had to successfully take on Jevon Evans, JD McDonough, Rusev, and Dragon Lee.
The champion’s wrestling intelligence played a crucial role, enabling him to outmaneuver the challengers. Penta clinched the championship title in an electric match filled with shocking moments.
At one point, Penta and McDonough were battling for dominance at the top of the ladder, with another ladder placed precariously nearby. In a dramatic turn, Penta executed a powerful Mexican Destroyer on McDonough.
Meanwhile, Mysterio also made impactful use of the ladder. With Rusev positioned on the apron and Penta in place, he cleverly sprang off Penta to drive Rusev through a ladder set up between the announce table and the apron.
Evans showcased impressive skills as well, leaping around the ring and landing multiple OG cutters. His agility almost earned him the championship, but Rusev thwarted his attempt.
In a critical moment, Penta delivered another Mexican Destroyer to Evans, leaving him vulnerable. Penta then climbed the ladder, reaching the top to secure the victory.
Penta has held the Intercontinental Championship since defeating Dominik Mysterio in March. The excitement of WrestleMania 42 will certainly be remembered by fans for its thrilling matches and dramatic twists.
