A new documentary suggests that a significant collection of documents from the former cybersecurity chief at Los Alamos National Laboratory indicates the U.S. government has been involved in secret UFO experiments for many years. This lab is notable for having two of the 11 scientists who are now missing or deceased.
Reporter Jeremy Corbell claims that his upcoming film, titled “sleeping dog,” includes classified documents provided by the son of a deceased cybersecurity head from the lab.
“As a journalist, I’ve become a central hub for sensitive information. Unidentified Aerial Phenomena are a major part of my reporting,” Corbell mentioned in an interview.
He added, “It’s not uncommon for families of deceased insiders to reach out to me with hidden documents left behind.” A personal account comes from a child he spoke to, who faced difficulties after the passing of their father, leading Corbell to realize the seriousness of the situation.
Interestingly, he noted that he knew some of the scientists personally, who had never mentioned any research on UFOs.
The identities of the director of the institute, his son, and the mentioned scientists remain undisclosed for safety reasons.
This documentary is slated for release on May 17th.
Corbell mentioned that the leaked documents include internal memos, diagrams, and Polaroid images.
“These documents conclusively show that the U.S. government has been running a secret program for decades, trying to understand the motives and origins of UFO operators,” he emphasized.
One document outlines the agenda for a high-level meeting that took place in Los Alamos on April 24, 1991. It included participants from the CIA, NSA, Navy, and Army, discussing an “atmospheric anomaly.”
Topics reportedly discussed included the 1987 Gulf Breeze UFO incident and the 1989 UFO wave in Belgium.
The meeting also covered issues like “Soviet offerings,” advancements in sensor technology, and fostering cooperation with private sectors and esteemed universities like MIT and Stanford.
In recent months, two former employees from the Los Alamos National Laboratory, established by Robert Oppenheimer, have vanished without a trace.
Retired engineer Anthony Chavez went missing in May 2025, leaving behind his belongings while out for a walk. Despite extensive searches, his body was never discovered.
On another note, Melissa Cassias, a 39-year-old administrative assistant, disappeared in June 2025 after dropping off lunch for her daughter. Surveillance footage showed her walking alone on a freeway.
Following the disappearances, authorities found that both her home and work phones had been reset to factory settings and left behind.
There was also mention of missing Air Force General William McCasland, who had ties to UFO research at Los Alamos, overseeing nuclear research conducted there.
President Trump addressed the concerning trend of missing scientists on April 16, stating, “Some of them are very important, and we will be looking into this in the near future.”
