Susie Wiles, who serves as Chief of Staff to President Donald Trump, launched her X account on Tuesday to provide insights from within the White House. In her opening post, she expressed her commitment to advancing Trump’s policies and noted the importance of different perspectives. Since its inception, her account has gained about 300,000 followers. Despite often accompanying Trump in high-profile events and meetings, Wiles usually remains out of the public eye.
Her account follows just six other users, mainly prominent media organizations. The White House’s Rapid Response Account promoted her first post, encouraging others to follow her. When asked for further commentary, the White House referred inquiries back to Wiles’ initial message.
Wiles has been significant in Trump’s campaigns, being noted for her role in both the 2016 and 2020 elections. She made history as the first woman to be appointed Chief of Staff. Trump once referred to her as the “Ice Maiden,” highlighting her tough business approach, a nickname he recalled in his 2024 speech.
Having shown loyalty to Trump since 2015, Wiles has always openly supported him, even when her backing was considered risky by some in the Republican establishment. She expressed in a 2016 interview that many thought her support was unwise but maintained her commitment to his campaign.
