Ving Rhames is reportedly heading home after a hospital visit on Wednesday morning, as confirmed by a representative. The 66-year-old actor, known for his role in “Mission: Impossible,” collapsed while dining at Granville Restaurant in North Hollywood, according to the manager, Brad Kramer. “He sounded like himself and even joked on the phone,” Kramer shared.
The actor experienced overheating during his meal, as noted by his agent. Currently, his representatives have yet to provide additional comments.
Rhames, who has appeared in all eight “Mission: Impossible” films, is also recognized for his notable role in the 1994 film “Pulp Fiction.” Recently, he has been hosting a documentary series titled “The Deadliest of All Time” on the History Channel, which delves into some of history’s most catastrophic natural disasters.
Interestingly, Rhames once mentioned that throughout the excitement of filming “Mission: Impossible,” like explosions or daring stunts, he always felt safe, largely due to Tom Cruise’s leadership. “Tom has ensured a safe environment for us,” he emphasized, reflecting on how Cruise surprised him by treating everyone equally, regardless of race.
Rhames cherished the moments spent with Cruise, learning industry insights that he found invaluable. One significant lesson he shared with Cruise was, quite simply, to treat everyone with fairness.
