Stars Gather for American Express Presents Carbon Beach
Hailey Bieber, Alix Earle, and several other celebrities were spotted arriving for the opening night of American Express Presents Carbon Beach on Friday, just days before the F1 Miami Grand Prix kicked off.
A source shared with Page Six that the 29-year-old founder of Lorde arrived solo with a small group during cocktail hour and was whisked away to the dining area before it officially opened for some privacy, expressing a desire to avoid the paparazzi.
“She wanted to enjoy the evening without drawing attention,” an insider relayed.
Bieber took her seat among other VIPs like Bravo star Bethenny Frankel and her new partner, Kevin O’Leary.
Alix Earle also made an appearance at the event, donning a cream dress, strappy sandals, and sporting an elegant updo.
Not long after Earle showed up, her former boyfriend, Braxton Berrios, arrived separately and sat at a different table with Miami hospitality figure Miles Shear.
Other notable attendees included Wayne Boich and Julia Hart with her eldest daughter, Bathsheba.
Kevin Hart was later seen making his way to the dinner table, while Major Food Group’s co-founders—Mario Carbone, Jeff Zalaznik, and Rich Torrisi—were spotted checking out the exclusive venue.
Before the fifth annual event commenced, Chef Carbone took a moment to discuss why celebrities keep returning to this lavish dinner. “There’s really nothing like this during a Grand Prix,” he remarked, adding that the event has evolved significantly in recent years. “It’s a unique blend of food, production, setting, location, and, of course, entertainment.”
He reminisced about his favorite celebrity memory from past gatherings, which included a remarkable performance by Andrea Bocelli. “Having such talented performers singing familiar songs—especially ones my mom loves—was a deeply emotional experience,” he reflected.
Previous attendees of Carbon Beach have included notable figures like Jeff Bezos, Ivanka Trump, and LeBron James, among others. Not to mention, past performers like Lauryn Hill and Snoop Dogg have entertained guests, with Snoop Dogg scheduled to perform on Saturday.
