Stars Gather for the World Cup Opener

The scene was less about Madison Square Garden fame and more about sports celebrities as Los Angeles welcomed the U.S. men’s World Cup opener against Paraguay on Friday evening.

Jackson Dart was quickly recognized on the field at SoFi Stadium, spotted with his girlfriend, Marissa Ayers.

Dart sported denim shorts, a white tank top, an oversized tan jacket, and sunglasses, while Ayers wore an oversized denim jacket over a red gingham dress paired with white kitten heels. Apparently, his outfit reflected a red, white, and blue theme.

In his second season with the Giants, Dart shared pregame moments with his teammate Jameis Winston.

The duo was seen munching on blue “W” cookies along the blue carpet leading to the media area.

Winston even captured photos of Dart and Ayers forming a ‘W’ with their fingers.

Other notable attendees included Paris Hilton, Tom Cruise, David Beckham, and Katy Perry, who was accompanied by her boyfriend, Justin Trudeau.

Perry dazzled the crowd with a pre-match performance, wearing a silver gown while singing “Wonder” alongside the 10-year-old Norwegian artist Tius Luka.

Vince Vaughn was also spotted in attendance with Shabouzy. Other familiar faces included Owen Wilson, Rob Lowe, Halle Berry, Jamie Foxx, and even the beloved characters Elmo and Cookie Monster.

The atmosphere at SoFi Stadium was electric as fans cheered the USA to a dominant 4-1 victory, ending the first half with a 3-0 lead in Group D action.
