Belichick and Hudson at Kentucky Derby
Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson made an appearance at Churchill Downs ahead of Saturday’s Kentucky Derby.
Hudson, 25, shared a photo of them smiling and holding hands while walking along the muddy racetrack a few hours before the race began.
The couple opted for colorful attire for the prestigious event. Hudson donned a light blue suit jacket paired with a floral dress and a pink flower headband, along with a handkerchief belonging to a football coach from North Carolina.
In her post, Hudson playfully remarked, “This isn’t the first time we’ve walked in the mud together.”
This comment seemed to reflect the couple’s journey since their relationship became public in June 2024. They’ve garnered attention for various reasons, including a controversial interview on “CBS Sunday Morning,” a report that led to Hudson’s ban from the UNC team facility, and discussions surrounding Belichick’s absence from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
After exploring the racetrack, Hudson posted a picture showing Belichick’s 74-year-old shoes, now covered in mud and pink pointy heels.
The couple is set to participate in the race, which is slated to kick off at 6:57 p.m.
Notably, the field of competitors has been narrowed to 19 horses after one of the featured entrants, Puma, sustained a swollen leg from a skin infection, along with an abrasion, just hours before the event.
This week has been particularly busy for Hudson and Belichick; they recently traveled to Florida for the World Cheerleading Championships.
At this event, Hudson awarded Belichick the title of “WAG” (wife or girlfriend) in an Instagram post, highlighting their close relationship.
Things have been relatively quiet for Belichick in other aspects, as he faced a rough start in college football, finishing his debut season at Chapel Hill with a 4-8 record following a more successful first season with the Tar Heels.
