Florida Teens Arrested After Reckless Social Media Stunts
Two 18-year-olds in Florida were taken into custody following an incident involving the Ocala police. This occurred during what was described as a “social media stunt” over the weekend.
So, what did they actually do?
According to the authorities, Janek Škaladek drove a lawn mower into a Target store located on South Wales College Road while Luke Czarske recorded the entire event. Škaladek’s driving skills left some damage to the store’s entrance.
But that’s not all. The night prior, law enforcement reported that Škaladek had used a leaf blower inside a local Culver’s restaurant, also on South Wales College Road. It appears the police were not finding this amusing.
“These acts not only risked safety but also caused property destruction,” the police stated. “They are crimes, not just harmless videos. Please reconsider before capturing such moments; they can lead to serious consequences.”
In the Culver’s incident, Škaladek faced charges for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, while for the Target situation, he received another disorderly conduct charge. Czarske, for his part, was charged with disorderly conduct connected to the Target scenario.
The comments on the Ocala Police Department’s Facebook post about this event were a mix of humor and critique regarding the boys’ actions. One commenter quipped, “They don’t arrest smart people, do they? But someone should take those lawn tools to a hairstylist!”
- A user remarked on the duo’s antics, calling it a “Beavis & Butthead 2026 Edition.”
- Another expressed surprise that natural selection hadn’t intervened with the lawn mower.
- Someone suggested, “Give them a mower and a blower for everyone’s yard work!”
- One comment sarcastically congratulated them, saying, “Now you have something for your resume!”
- Another humorous critique asked, “What brand was that leaf blower? Some important details seem to be missing!”
