Comedian suggests Megan Thee Stallion requires a 'real man' following her breakup with Klay Thompson in an 'SNL' skit

In a light-hearted moment on “Saturday Night Live,” comedian Cam Patterson humorously suggested that NBA player Klay Thompson might be cheating on Megan Thee Stallion.

During the “Weekend Update” segment, Patterson asked, “Who on earth is this guy?” to which co-host Michael Che noted that Patterson was talking about a “world-famous professional basketball player.”

Patterson then pondered aloud, “Is there a men’s WNBA? What’s that called? MNBA? To me, he’s not Klay; he’s Dart.”

He added, “What Meg Thee Stallion really needs is a real man.” Che followed up with a casual, “What else makes a real man?”

Patterson described himself as someone from “thriving industries,” like “supposedly entertainment” and “sketch television.” He joked that Thompson hasn’t participated much in “SNL” sketches yet but seems to be improving weekly.

“Who exactly is this man?” he asked again, reiterating that, for him, Thompson is “Dart.” The audience laughed, and Che advised Patterson not to “encourage” such comments, to which Patterson replied, “I think that sounds like me.” He went on to humorously claim he didn’t actually know who Thompson was, describing him as “a four-time NBA champion and the second greatest shooter of all time.”

Patterson even expressed a desire to date Megan, saying, “Megan, if you’re watching, let’s talk in person.”

Last weekend, Megan revealed that she had broken up with Thompson, stating in her own words that loyalty and respect are essential in any relationship.

As music played in the background, Patterson leaned forward and quipped, “Am I the man you want? Probably not. But am I the man you need? That’s not the case either.” He humorously suggested, “You already had the best baby, so why not try the rest?” while showcasing some DMs he claimed to have sent to her.

Neither Thompson nor Megan’s representatives have commented on these remarks yet. Recently, sports analyst Stephen A. Smith defended Thompson, arguing that his personal matters shouldn’t be the subject of public discussion.
