Fox News Dominates Digital News Landscape
New data from Emplifi and Comscore Social shows that Fox News Media led the digital news scene in April 2026, achieving engagement rates seven times higher than many competitors.
In April, Fox News accumulated 471.9 million video views on YouTube, marking the third-best month in its history. It significantly outperformed competitors, nearly quadrupling the views of both ABC News and NBC News, and surpassing MS NOW by more than 167 million views. CBS News lagged even further behind, as Fox News generated over 400 million more video views.
Year-over-year, Fox News flaunted a 45% increase in YouTube video views, with its rivals trailing. MS NOW garnered 304.4 million views, followed by CNN with 203.3 million, ABC News with 119.3 million, NBC News with 115.2 million, and CBS News with just 62.6 million.
Fox News Leads with 370 Million Views in February
Besides YouTube, other Fox News Media platforms contributed to this impressive performance in April, including the Fox News clip, which tallied more than 52 million views, and Fox Business, which brought in 63.3 million views. Overall, total views across Fox News Media reached 605 million that month.
Fox News also took the lead in social media engagement, accumulating 111.7 million interactions across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
Record Growth in 2025
In this time frame, Fox News drove 50.2 million interactions on Facebook, tied with 19.7 million on Instagram, 6.5 million on X, and 35.3 million interactions on TikTok.
By the end of April, Fox News achieved a remarkable 1.9 billion social video views, which is a 96% increase compared to the same period last year.
Interestingly, this news comes on the heels of Fox News holding the title of the No. 1 news brand on YouTube for six consecutive quarters. During the first quarter of 2026, the network reached a record 1.5 billion views on the platform, surpassing the combined views of ABC News, NBC News, and CBS News.

In terms of social engagement for Q1 2026, Fox News claimed around 426 million interactions across major social media platforms.
