Randy Moss Starts a Bass Fishing Series on YouTube and Will Lead a Significant $3.25 Million Tournament in Tennessee

Randy Moss Launches New Bass Fishing Series

Randy Moss, a Pro Football Hall of Fame member, is set to debut a new bass fishing series on YouTube titled “Chasing 10 with Randy Moss.” He will also take on the role of ambassador for the upcoming Bass Tournament of Champions, which is planned for Tennessee in the fall of 2026.

The tournament will be a significant event, featuring elite anglers from Major League Fishing’s Bass Pro Tour and Bassmaster Elite Series competing for a staggering prize of $3.25 million, as announced by World Bass Enterprises (WBE). The winner will take home $1.25 million, marking the largest payout ever in bass fishing history.

Moss expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Bass fishing has always been a big part of my life, fueling my competitive fire in retirement. You feel the rush of winding up the bass, just like when you find the end zone.” He added that launching “Chasing 10” and partnering with WBE was an easy decision, praising Brian Bird’s leadership and vision. He’s excited about the Tournament of Champions in Nashville.

The tournament is scheduled from October 28th to November and will take place in Hendersonville, Tennessee, near Nashville, specifically at Saunders Ferry Park on Old Hickory Lake. It will include the top 50 anglers from the Bass Pro Tour and Bassmaster Elite Series.

As for “Chasing 10,” the series will follow Moss’s quest to land a 10-pound bass, a celebrated milestone for anglers. The show will feature celebrities from sports and entertainment, such as former Minnesota Vikings teammates Dante Culpepper, Cris Carter, and Jake Reed.

Recently recovering from cancer, Moss shared that he finds solace in bass fishing and nature, referring to them as his “therapists.” He reflected, “Did I need a therapist after I retired from football? Probably. But I use bass fishing and Mother Nature as my therapist. My wife lets me go out two or three times a week.” Moss’s passion for fishing began in his childhood along the Kanawha River in West Virginia, but his love for bass fishing truly took off after meeting a retired professional angler while playing for the Vikings.
