Thomas Massie Claims Trump Harassed and Took Action Against GOP Representative ‘Regarding Epstein’

Trump’s Retaliation Allegations Over Epstein Files

Representative Thomas Massey, a Republican from Kentucky, alleged that President Donald Trump took action against Republican colleagues who sought greater transparency regarding the Epstein file.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson on Wednesday, Massey revealed that Republican Representative Lauren Boebert of Colorado was brought to the Situation Room and pressured to withdraw her name from a petition aimed at forcing a vote on releasing the Epstein files. Boebert was one of four Republicans who signed the petition, which had the backing of 214 Democrats.

After Boebert stood firm and decided not to let her vote go to waste, Massey claimed that Trump vetoed a bill designed to provide critical resources to residents in southeastern Colorado, many of whom are Boebert’s constituents.

“They took her to the Situation Room and tried to convince her to remove her name from the application for the release related to Epstein,” Massey stated. “And the president vetoed the bill intended to supply water to much of Colorado.”

“It’s not just about Lauren Boebert at this point,” Massey continued. “Why are Coloradans being deprived of water because their representatives want to expose a sex trafficking ring?”

Though Massey stressed this issue repeatedly, he also referred to Epstein’s claims about a ‘Democrat hoax’ surrounding the matter. He noted that Epstein filed a Transparency Act after it had received overwhelming support in both congressional chambers.

Trump argued that he vetoed the bill back in December due to the project’s high costs, highlighting that local users had not met their repayment obligations. He pointed out that Congress had previously allocated additional funds in 2009, yet construction had not advanced.

President Trump remarked, “Enough is enough. My administration is committed to preventing American taxpayers from financing expensive and unreliable policies. Ending these costs is crucial for our economic growth and the nation’s fiscal health.”
