Man faces charges for reportedly posting death threats against Kristi Noem and Pam Bondi.

Federal Charges Filed Against Man for Threats to Trump Officials

A man is facing multiple federal charges after allegedly posting disturbing death threats directed at two notable officials from the Trump administration: former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and former Attorney General Pam Bondi.

According to federal court documents from the Northern District of Gainesville, Georgia, Elliott Owen Schroer supposedly issued a series of graphic messages around April 3, indicating violent plans involving X to physically harm, kidnap, and murder former employees.

While Schroer’s age remains undisclosed, reports suggest he is from Georgia. His actions, as noted in legal filings, indicate a blatant disregard for the potential perception of his messages as violent threats.

Threats Against Officials

Prosecutors outlined that Schroer directed especially alarming threats towards Noem, including statements like, “I’m going to stab you in the eye with a blunt knife,” and “I’m going to blow your esophagus out the back of your neck with a 12-gauge slug.” Additionally, he reportedly claimed, “I will hang your head on a stake.”

Authorities emphasized that the threats documented in the indictment are just a portion of what was asserted.

Further Allegations

Furthermore, Schroer is also suspected of making threats against Bondi, with one post allegedly stating, “Pam, I was going to kill you.” These posts seem to indicate a motivation of retaliation towards Noem and Bondi based on their actions while in office.

Schroer faces four charges: two for interstate threatening communication and two for intimidation against a former government official. The case is being prosecuted by U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg and Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Keene.
