Danielle Fishel Joins Wrestling Fray

Danielle Fishel, known for her role in “Boy Meets World,” has made quite a name for herself in the wrestling world. She’s a huge fan and frequently attends WWE events. Recently, she even showed up for the WWE premiere of “Monday Night Raw,” which was released on Netflix in January 2025.

In a surprising twist, Fishel has offered to be Danhausen’s tag team partner for the upcoming Backlash event. Danhausen is set to compete in a tag match against Kit Wilson and The Miz, but he’s still in search of a teammate. Fishel took to Instagram, sharing a photo of herself donned in Danhausen’s signature face paint, to announce her support. “Let me just say, we have history,” she captioned the post.

Danhausen couldn’t help but respond with a laughing emoji, while CM Punk contributed a shocked expression in the comments. The speculation surrounding Danhausen’s tag partner has sparked a buzz on social media, with fans throwing out names ranging from CM Punk to John Cena and even sports commentator Stephen A. Smith.

This week, WWE broadcaster Michael Cole hinted at the mystery partner’s identity, suggesting it’s someone who has a keen interest in money. So, you know, take that for what it’s worth.

Backlash will feature five matches, including a heavyweight championship bout where Roman Reigns will defend his title against Jacob Fatu. Additionally, Trick Williams will challenge Sami Zayn for the United States Championship, and we’ll see Seth Rollins facing Bron Breaker, alongside Iyo Sky battling Asuka.

Scheduled for Tampa, Florida, Backlash will kick off at 6 PM ET and be available for viewing on ESPN. Fans are certainly in for an exciting night!
