Shania Twain Hints at New Music
Shania Twain is stirring up excitement among fans with a recent tease of her upcoming single on social media.
The 60-year-old country star kicked off the speculation by sharing a post on Instagram. In the video, she’s seen wearing cowboy boots, a long-sleeve white shirt, and a fringed skirt, making quite the visual impression.
The scene shows her walking through a field with an ax, approaching a pile of firewood. Just as she prepares to chop it, the video cuts to black with the message: “Don’t touch that dial. I’ll be right back.”
Fans jumped into the comments, expressing their eagerness. One wrote, “Can’t wait to hear the new song ❤️❤️ Jumping for joy 😍.”
Another fan exclaimed, “New Queen song?!?!?!?🤠,” while someone else shared their enthusiasm for the anticipated album: “I know this album is going to be my favorite.”
It wasn’t long before Twain confirmed that a new single was indeed on its way. She followed up with another Instagram post, where she dances in a field wearing matching brown cowboy boots and a nude lace dress that has a slight lingerie feel, along with a hat and jacket. Fans caught snippets of lyrics to what they believe is her new song.
Twain sings, “In the summer, you can drive my Hummer/You can drive the ladies in my Mercedes/But you can’t drive my truck.” The caption adds, “You can drive me crazy (but…you can’t drive my truck!).”
One fan mused, “Missed you! Welcome back! ❤️🔥✨,” while another exclaimed, “She’s back as the OG Shania 😍!!!! I love it!!! Catchy and great looking!!”
This marks a notable return for Twain, who last released new material earlier this year with her sixth studio album, *Queen of Me*, just in February.
In an earlier discussion, Twain mentioned the new album felt different as she was “more comfortable” during its creation. She shared her thoughts on making albums, stating, “I don’t make many albums. I’m not the kind of artist who just churns them out. With this album, I’ve felt more confident and willing to experiment.” It’s clear she feels a certain freedom now, which adds a fresh dimension to her music.
Twain stepped into the music spotlight back in 1993 with her debut album, later becoming a worldwide sensation with albums like *The Woman in Me* and the massively successful *Come on Over*. The latter is often hailed as the best-selling studio album by a female artist, featuring hits like “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” and “You’re Still the One.” Throughout her incredible career, she has garnered multiple awards, including five Grammys and Entertainer of the Year at the CMA Awards.
