Savannah Guthrie’s Mother’s Day Appeal Amid Ongoing Search
This Mother’s Day, Savannah Guthrie made an emotional appeal as the search for her mother, Nancy Guthrie, continues. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she shared a video filled with cherished memories and a call for assistance.
“Mother, daughter, sister, Nonnie, we miss you with every breath. We’ll never stop looking for you. We won’t find peace until we do,” Guthrie expressed. She urged the public for help, stating, “CALL FBI at 1800. You can stay anonymous, and there are still rewards available. Keep praying. Let’s bring her home.”
Savannah’s husband, Michael Feldman, also honored her with a post featuring a picture of her with their children. He called her “the strongest person” he knows and encouraged everyone to be surrounded by love this Mother’s Day.
On a related note, authorities continue to investigate Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. It’s been reported that she was alive at the time of her abduction, with blood evidence suggesting a struggle took place at her front door.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos mentioned to Fox News Digital that there’s been progress in the investigation nearly 100 days after the 84-year-old woman vanished from her home in Catalina Foothills, Arizona. Nancy Guthrie was believed to have been taken around 2:30 a.m. on February 1.
In March, Savannah publicly addressed the impact of the situation on her family, stating, “Someone needs to do the right thing. We are suffering.”
Support poured in from friends and colleagues, with former “Today” co-host Hoda Kotb commenting, “I’m hugging you,” along with a heart emoji. Jill Martin, a lifestyle contributor to “Today,” said Guthrie is “redefining the strongest.”
The ongoing search for Nancy marks a painful chapter, and Savannah’s determination shines through in her calls for help.
