Recently declassified footage from the Pentagon is intensifying American beliefs about the existence of extraterrestrial life. Attendees at an AI event expressed to Fox News Digital that this new footage supports long-held suspicions regarding unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs).
This release, part of efforts by former President Donald Trump to promote transparency around UAPs, includes previously unseen videos and documents, stirring public curiosity and raising questions about what knowledge governments might have kept from the public.
“I think it’s great that we’re finally getting some information they’ve known for a while,” one attendee remarked.
Another individual stated, “If the government knows about extraterrestrial life and has kept it under wraps, it’s time to inform the public.”
One comment reflects ongoing public fascination with potential extraterrestrial beings and the significance of recent UAP footage.
“We know there’s life on other planets,” a participant said. “We just haven’t clarified it yet.” The Trump administration’s initiative, the Presidential Opening and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE), unveiled a substantial collection of documents and videos related to UAP sightings.
The clips feature various objects behaving in unusual ways both in the air and in the water, filmed in places like Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Greece. These reports follow Trump’s directive aimed at enhancing government transparency concerning unresolved UAP sightings.
Details are gradually being released from tens of millions of documents currently under review.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, the White House conveyed, “While past administrations may have sought to downplay these matters, President Trump is dedicated to ensuring the public has access to information, allowing them to make informed decisions.” When queried about whether transparency is beneficial for the public, most responses were affirmative.
“I think it’s a good idea. I just hope people don’t panic,” another person cautioned. “That’s why I believe information should be released slowly—because not everyone is prepared for it.”
However, some expressed concern that these revelations could lead to panic. “It’s a terrible idea. We tend to think in groups, so if one person decides, ‘Oh no, they’re coming for us,’ it could spiral out of control,” said one attendee.
Still, many insisted on the necessity of complete transparency in matters regarding extraterrestrial inquiries. “We need to know what they’ve found; we suspect we’re not alone in the universe,” one official commented.
