Jordon Hudson confronts Tony Dokoupil about the Bill Belichick interview

Bill Belichick’s Girlfriend Critiques CBS Interview

Jordon Hudson, Bill Belichick’s 25-year-old girlfriend, has taken to social media again to voice her disapproval of CBS reporter Tony Dokoupil, following a botched interview with the UNC football coach last April.

In a post on her Instagram Story, she referenced a video where Dokoupil discussed the necessity of accountability in journalism, mentioning that “too many stories are missed by news organizations.”

Hudson urged, “Release the unedited transcript. Release the unedited footage. Keep it to you,” referring specifically to the entire interview with Belichick on “CBS Morning.”

The interview gained attention after CBS aired footage showing Hudson interrupting Dokoupil as he queried Belichick about how they met, diverting attention from the promotion of his book, “The Art of Winning.”

In her post, Hudson included a note indicating a planned interview with CBS, emphasizing that it would focus on literature. She quoted, “I assure you this conversation is about books.” She elaborated that it would feature sections from the book that highlight Belichick’s football career and lessons for success.

Additionally, Hudson shared a clip where Belichick discussed the interview’s backlash during a conversation with Fox News’ Sean Hannity. He stated that CBS had denied his requests for interview transcripts.

“As we’ve observed lately, there have been ongoing editorial issues, some of which date back years, involving editing and the interview process,” Belichick commented regarding the CBS experience.

“I think the interviews I had were conducted quite deceptively. I asked for records, and they refused to provide them. They did this with others too. It’s confusing what their policy is. I don’t believe they embody the trust they claim to uphold.”

In response to Belichick’s comments, Hannity expressed his surprise at the treatment, calling it “horrible,” and suggested the coach consider legal action.

This isn’t Hudson’s first time publicly criticizing CBS; she’s previously addressed the network’s portrayal of their relationship.

The scrutiny surrounding their relationship intensified after the interview, with rumors suggesting Hudson was trying to manage her career opportunities through Belichick.

When Dokoupil probed into how Belichick and Hudson met, Hudson chimed in, agreeing that, “We haven’t talked about it.” Belichick later clarified that Hudson interrupted to steer the conversation back to his book, noting that CBS chose to air only a brief excerpt from an extensive 35-minute discussion.

Belichick, who began dating Hudson publicly in June 2024 after meeting her on a plane in 2021, has faced a lot of attention since the interview.
