First Lady Melania Trump is set to discuss the “four community-centered pillars” related to foster care during a lunch for senators’ spouses on Wednesday, according to reports. This event follows the House of Representatives’ recent unanimous passage of the Growing Future Act, which aims to support children transitioning out of foster care by modernizing the John H. Chaffee Foster Care Program. The bill will soon head to the Senate, potentially reaching President Donald Trump for his signature.
