Arizona Woman Defies Haters After Swatting Incident During Charity Stream

An Arizona resident, known online as “Glama Cracker,” is standing her ground against critics who label her as a dangerous influence during her live streams.

Sue Jacot, who has amassed a following of hundreds of thousands on YouTube, was caught off guard on a recent day while she was engaged in a continuous livestream aimed at raising funds to support her grandson’s cancer treatment.

“They’re not going to tell me what I can do. They’re not going to make me afraid of that,” Jacot declared.

During the stream, Jacot was playing Minecraft with her grandsons when one of them was diagnosed with cancer. “He went through 200 chemotherapy sessions over about a year and a half, and that’s a considerable expense that insurance won’t cover,” the 81-year-old shared.

The family had intended to stream continuously for 15 days, but the situation took a turn when police arrived at their home.

“I got a call saying Jack shot my grandma and was threatening to take his own life. That hit me hard—it felt like I got punched in the stomach,” Jack Self recounted.

This so-called “swatting” is a highly risky tactic where false reports of serious crimes are made to dispatch urgent police responses, sometimes leading to tragic outcomes.

In response to the call, over a dozen officers from Queen Creek showed up and entered the house. A livestream captured the police awakening Jacot from her sleep.

“They were sort of pushing me out and apologizing,” Jacot remarked. “I was curious about what my grandchildren had done.”

Despite the troubling incident, Jacot expressed that it wouldn’t deter her from continuing her mission. “They’re not going to dictate my actions. I won’t live in fear,” she emphasized.

Jacot later reflected on the swatting episode. She shared in a video post that it was overwhelming to receive so much support and affection from her grandchildren afterward. “Actually, it was kind of fun!” she remarked, highlighting her resilience.
