Trump Critiques Colbert with AI Video

President Trump has taken a swing at Stephen Colbert, his longtime rival, using an AI-generated video. The brief 22-second clip depicts Trump walking onto the set of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” as Colbert introduces the finale.

In this digitally rendered version of Trump, viewers see him interacting with Colbert, including a moment where he shakes Colbert’s hand multiple times, as if controlled by the critics he often faces.

Trump is then shown comically throwing Colbert into a green trash can, which understandably drew laughter from the audience. After sealing the lid, he began to dance to “YMCA,” making for quite a sight.

This video surfaced late on Friday, just a day after the show’s final episode aired. Following the series finale, Trump took to “Truth Social,” where he voiced his disdain for Colbert, claiming he had “no talent, no recognition, and no life.” He described Colbert as lifeless and expressed relief that the show was coming to an end.

The final episode of Colbert’s tenure attracted 6.7 million viewers, featuring notable guests like Paul McCartney and Ryan Reynolds. Colbert had hosted the show for 11 years but opted to refrain from directly criticizing Trump during the finale, only doing so in earlier broadcasts.

Even as he wrapped up his time on CBS, Colbert found ways to poke fun at Trump. In his last week, he referred to a controversial Justice Department fund as an “all-you-can-swindle buffet” and labeled Trump’s various construction projects a “construction blob.”

Interestingly, Colbert couldn’t resist staying in the spotlight, appearing on a local program called “Only Monroe.” This was reminiscent of his previous guest spot in 2015, where he shared humorous anecdotes about his time in television alongside personalities like Jack White, Eminem, and actors Jeff Daniels and Steve Buscemi.
