Shotzi’s New Chapter with Major League Wrestling
Shotzi, known for her bold style, joined Major League Wrestling (MLW) last June after her contract with WWE ended. This transition came just a month after she left WWE, marking a significant shift in her wrestling career.
She made her debut in Summer of the Beasts and officially signed with MLW about nine months later. Shotzi’s dynamic personality has infused fresh energy into the MLW Women’s Division.
Reflecting on her decision, Shotzi shared, “When my contract with WWE ended, I was in no rush to sign anywhere.” She likened her situation to a time in her life when she wasn’t looking for a relationship, yet that was when she found her ideal match. Similarly, MLW reached out to her quickly after her WWE departure.
“They got me right away. I had so much fun, and when they asked for my autograph, I thought, ‘Sure, let’s make this official.’” Shotzi mentioned that she’s currently enjoying herself more than ever in her wrestling career.
“I’m really having a blast,” she continued. “The creative freedom here is amazing, plus the chance to wrestle globally has been fulfilling. I’ve had some incredible matches that I take great pride in.”
Shotzi also expressed enthusiasm about MLW’s accessibility, saying, “You can find us everywhere: YouTube, beIN Sports, Veeps. It’s fantastic for getting more eyes on MLW.” She emphasized how the company isn’t hesitant to take risks in both wrestling and storytelling, which makes it stand out in the competitive landscape.
She added that MLW’s emphasis on storytelling enhances the viewer experience: “They have compelling storylines, and it truly feels like professional wrestling.” For fans of WWE, she believes MLW offers a thrilling alternative. “If you like watching WWE, you’ll have a great time with MLW,” she concluded.
