Growing Interest in Extraterrestrial Life

Following President Trump’s recent directive to release previously classified documents about UFOs and UAPs, curiosity surrounding extraterrestrial life is on the rise. Speculation about aliens and flying saucers is dominating social media conversations daily.

Recently on the “Unshamed” podcast, hosts Jace, Al Robertson, and Zach Dasher spoke with Chad Robichaux, a veteran Marine and founder of Mighty Oaks, about his unconventional Biblical interpretations regarding UFOs, giants, and demonic influences.

Robichaux emphasizes that the church should engage with these topics, whether they stem from actual events or historical accounts, to avoid undermining people’s faith. He points out that most Christians tend to hold an “anthropocentric view,” viewing humanity as the center of creation.

He expresses concern that if evidence of extraterrestrial life emerges, it could disrupt this perception and lead many Christians into confusion or uncertainty. He cites scriptural passages discussing the “secret places and secret things” in God’s universe and mentions various heavenly beings.

“I think that God sent His only Son to us,” he reflects. “We are indeed created in God’s image, yet that doesn’t mean we’re the only significant beings.”

Robichaux finds value in the early sections of the Book of Enoch, particularly the Book of the Watchers, which recounts the origins of the Nephilim—entities described in Genesis 6 as being part human and part divine. He believes the text supports his views without contradicting the Gospel.

According to this ancient text, a group of 200 angels called “Watchers” misused their powers by mingling with human women, resulting in the Nephilim and subsequently the Great Flood.

Robichaux describes the Nephilim’s fate as unique since they exist neither fully as humans nor fully as divine beings. “They can’t experience the same eternal destiny as we do, so their spirits linger on earth. This ties into the essence of our demonic struggles today,” he explains.

Perhaps modern UFO sightings or “alien” interactions could be manifestations of these Nephilim spirits trying to mislead humanity.

Robichaux argues that Christians should shift from an anthropocentric worldview towards a Christ-centered perspective, placing Jesus at the core of existence, with humanity and other creatures as part of a larger scheme.

In his view, the idea of “Little Green Men” arriving from spaceships shouldn’t destabilize the faith of believers.
