The unpredictable French Open is wrapping up with today’s men’s singles final.
Alexander Zverev and Flavio Cobolli are set to compete, both aiming for their first Grand Slam title.
Kobolli, ranked 10th globally, is making his debut in a Grand Slam final. His previous best was reaching the quarterfinals at Wimbledon in 2025. He advanced to the final when teammate Matteo Arnaldi had to step back due to illness.
Zverev, however, has had several near-misses in the past. With Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz not participating this year, it seems like a golden opportunity for him to finally seize his first title. Today marks his fourth appearance in a Grand Slam final, following previous attempts at Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open.
