Texas Senate Race: Talarico vs. Paxton
The competition is heating up in the Texas Senate race between Democrat James Talarico and Republican Ken Paxton. Recently, Blaze TV host Allie Beth Stuckey felt the need to bring to light some of Talarico’s moral shortcomings—an issue she believes is significant.
One such concern is linked to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Austin, where Talarico is involved. The Daily Wire recently exposed the church for having “explicit LGBTQ books” in its children’s bookstore. Stuckey described these books as essentially pornographic, due to their “depictions of sexual acts.”
The church is also known to be a “strong supporter of family planning.” Stuckey points to Talarico’s personal life, mentioning that last November, the New York Post reported he was following at least ten OnlyFans models on his official account, raising eyebrows.
Stuckey noted that he liked multiple erotic images and even exchanged private messages with one of the models. She expressed concern, questioning how, if someone is engaging with accounts promoting Christianity while also interacting with OnlyFans models, there isn’t a significant issue of sexual immorality at play.
But Talarico’s actions extend beyond social media. Stuckey accused him of blasphemy, claiming he suggested that God is non-binary and is in favor of gender transition surgeries for children. In her view, he endorses abortion and advocates for killing unborn children. This isn’t merely about political policies for her, but a fundamental rejection of divine principles.
While she acknowledges that Ken Paxton isn’t without moral flaws, she argues that those issues do not manifest in his policies as they do with Talarico. Stuckey emphasized that Talarico is staunchly pro-abortion, opposing measures that protect unborn lives. She quoted him claiming he supports abortion rights because of his faith.
In a segment on “The Jamie Cahn Lima Show,” Talarico explained his stance, emphasizing his belief that women should make decisions regarding their bodies alongside family, medical professionals, and spiritual advisors. He insists that this position stems from his faith—arguing that the Bible does not specifically address abortion, and thus it’s important to consider broader ethical implications.
Stuckey reacted strongly, reminding viewers that “Satan is disguised as an angel of light.” She cautioned against being misled by Talarico’s seemingly gentle demeanor.
