Video shared on Mackenzie Shirilla's private Instagram shows her in tears at her boyfriend's grave.

A tragic video depicting Mackenzie Cirilla grieving the loss of her boyfriend surfaced on her private Instagram account but was quickly removed shortly after being posted.

The 22-year-old is currently serving two concurrent 15-year sentences for the death of Dominic Russo, 20, and their mutual friend Davison Flanagan, 18. This followed an incident on July 31, 2022, when Cirilla crashed their vehicle into a brick wall at over 100 mph, resulting in their deaths.

Criticism has been directed at Cirilla, who appears to show little remorse regarding the incident.

The footage features Cirilla, who is seen crying and wearing a neck brace while placing flowers on Russo’s grave shortly after the crash. An AI-generated voiceover, however, expresses the belief that she exhibited “no remorse or sadness” following the accident.

“But they definitely lied about that,” the voiceover adds.

Another clip shows Cirilla pouring a beer, captioned “sippin 4 you,” along with a still-frame image of her sniffing a shirt with the note: “I found one of his shirts. It smells just like him,” referring to her late boyfriend.

This video was deleted roughly 20 minutes after it was shared on social media.

It is thought that Cirilla’s Instagram account is managed by her parents.

The narration likely released with Cirilla’s approval, as she has previously requested her mother to modify her Instagram profile to read #freekenzie.

Many inmates at the Ohio Correctional Institution for Women, where she is incarcerated, often compile scrapbooks containing images of their loved ones.

Interestingly, Cirilla reportedly had just a single photo of herself with Russo and a cardboard cutout of a brick wall with the word “BOOM” on it, as mentioned by a former partner known as Anastasia.

“She didn’t have a single photo of Dom or Davion,” Anastasia noted. “I feel like it was cold.”

Despite the circumstances, Cirilla’s parents maintain her innocence.

She will not be eligible for parole until 2037.
