New TMNT Pizzeria Opening in Santa Monica

If you’re a fan of pizza and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, you’re in luck. This month, a pizzeria dedicated to the beloved franchise is set to open its doors in Santa Monica.

The first official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizzeria will launch on Saturday, June 20th at 11 a.m. It’s located at 1444 Third Street Promenade, as noted by restaurateur Andy Nguyen.

According to recent reports, the restaurant will begin with a “soft opening” for the first ten days before its grand opening.

Nguyen, known for other themed eateries like the one inspired by One Piece and a Sonic the Hedgehog café, shared that “the Turtles will be there in person to celebrate with us!”

He initially hinted at the TMNT Pizzeria back in July 2025. An Instagram post showed him with his team in front of a sign announcing its forthcoming opening.

The excitement is tangible. “Cowabunga, it’s happening. The first official TMNT Pizzeria is opening soon in Santa Monica!” the post exclaimed, going on to promise authentic New York-style cheese slices with a unique TMNT flair.

Nguyen mentioned, “We’ve been preparing for this for years, and we’re finally ready to serve pizza worthy of a sewer squad. Stay tuned because it’s almost time to eat like a Ninja Turtle.”

Earlier this year, Paramount announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Mattel aimed at developing products related to the upcoming animated sequel and a live-action/animation hybrid TMNT film. The first of three themed restaurants, as revealed by Paramount, is indeed in Santa Monica, with two more planned for Brazil and Mexico, although their opening dates remain uncertain.

To give a sneak peek, the official TMNT Pizzeria LA Instagram recently shared a video featuring neon signs and various decorations inspired by the iconic characters, hinting at an exciting dining experience ahead.
