Caitlin Clark Leads Indiana Fever to Overtime Win Against Chicago Sky

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever faced off against the Chicago Sky, a team they’ve had some history with. Clark, donning Taylor Swift’s Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Eras Tour” PE, broke the 30-point mark, leading her team to a thrilling 114-106 overtime victory after the Sky made a stunning late-game comeback.

Playing at home, the Fever had a rollercoaster of a game. They dominated early but then allowed the Sky to close the gap in the latter half—almost reminiscent of a famous Spurs game. However, unlike that Spurs matchup, Indiana managed to secure the win in overtime.

Clark shone on the court, notching a double-double with 32 points and 10 assists, plus seven rebounds. Remarkably, she went perfect from the free-throw line, hitting all 15 attempts.

In the third quarter, Chicago struggled initially but surged back, outscoring the Fever 39-27. With just eight seconds left in the fourth, they were down by five points. Yet, they executed some clutch plays, including a quick field goal and a game-tying three-pointer from Skylar Diggins, which sent the match into overtime, leaving many Fever fans in disbelief.

Indiana’s Key Players Shine

The Fever’s trio of Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell was impressive, combining for a staggering 85 points. Boston, in particular, led the score with 34 points.

With this win, Indiana has now stretched their winning streak against Chicago to seven games and boasts a solid record of 10-1 against the Sky in their past eleven encounters. The Fever have also managed to win three of their last four games, showcasing their momentum.
