Timeless President Trump continues to succeed at 80, dismissing his critics with laughter.

Donald Trump celebrated his 80th birthday on Sunday, but he doesn’t seem to appreciate the milestone.

Trump remarked that Joe Biden “gave him a bad reputation in his later years.” This sentiment isn’t entirely misplaced. Despite ongoing assertions and denials from the Biden administration and its remaining supporters, it’s evident that there have been noticeable concerns about Biden’s mental acuity even before he took office at age 78.

Of course, we know that individuals in their 80s or even 90s can maintain sharpness similar to those in their 70s, thanks to good health and genetics.

Trump appears to enjoy a sense of privilege while facing an aggressive narrative painting him as senile—this, from the very experts who overlooked Biden’s cognitive issues. He seems to be feeling quite good, and a recent health evaluation showed that, despite his busy schedule, his heart remains in “extremely healthy” condition for a 65-year-old.

American Party Time

When Biden turned 80 in 2022, inflation reached a 40-year high of 9%, while Russia took bold action, invading Ukraine during Biden’s tenure, following a poorly managed withdrawal from Afghanistan the previous year.

In contrast, as Trump approaches his 80th birthday in four years, inflation is projected to sit around 4%. Although that isn’t a dramatic decrease, it’s significantly lower than the peak experienced on Biden’s birthday—largely influenced by soaring gas prices tied to the conflict in Iran, but those might decrease sharply once it resolves.

If the Iran deal goes as promised by Trump’s administration, he could potentially prevent nuclear disaster in the Middle East and mitigate the threats posed by aggressive nations. This comes alongside achievements like reduced immigration due to secure borders, increased U.S. energy production, and Biden’s record deportations. Plus, there’s a sense of renewal in Washington, D.C., coupled with historically low murder rates.

Remarkably, he has regained his role as commander-in-chief, presiding over a noteworthy event on Sunday that would have appealed to one of his admired predecessors, Teddy Roosevelt.

Though challenges loom, Americans seem to be in a celebratory spirit as summer unfolds, with goodwill spreading in time for the significant celebrations marking America’s 250th anniversary. The nation appears ready to enjoy itself!

The positive vibes surged over the weekend, especially on Saturday night, when New York erupted in joy following the Knicks’ historic NBA championship victory after 53 long years. The atmosphere buzzed with shouts, honking horns, and fireworks late into the night. Even a few instances of violence couldn’t overshadow the pride surrounding their star player, Jalen Brunson, and his team of underrated champions.

Meanwhile, the World Cup has ignited excitement among hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide, which has proven infectious even for those Americans who aren’t soccer enthusiasts.

In colorful jerseys, fans flock to Times Square and cram into sports bars, bringing laughter and song along with them.

“Nothing Comes Close.”

Across social media, there’s a wave of appreciation for American culture as international viewers watch games and rave about the fast food, big-box stores, and the everyday kindness they’ve experienced from Americans.

“I love Americans,” a German soccer fan tweeted, who sparked attention for his praises of southern hospitality while traveling across the country with the German team.

He recounted a moment where, instead of walking an hour to save on an Uber, a hotel receptionist offered them a lift in the rain.

He also expressed joy for American food, particularly enjoying his first visit to Waffle House at 1 a.m., declaring it “great food, great prices, and friendly staff—10/10, will return.”

Another British traveler noted, “American food is over the top. People discuss portion sizes, but no one emphasizes the flavors. Even ‘fast’ food feels upscale compared to what I know from the UK.”

A young British tourist posted a video saying, “I was born in the wrong country…I’ve traveled widely, and nothing rivals America. You experience diverse landscapes and climates…Everything about America surpasses my experiences elsewhere.”

A South African fan shared a video, marveling at how “clean” and safe streets and parks in Central America are: “I hope people don’t overlook how fortunate America is—safe, clean, and friendly, where you can walk the streets at night without fear.” He also commented on the conveniency of 24-hour stores.

“Americans embody positivity,” another soccer fan noted.

Despite the narrative suggesting that the world is unsupportive of America due to Trump, many Americans are embracing a more positive perspective, viewing their country through the lens of World Cup tourists who appreciate what they see.

Short Critic

This serves as a fitting response to the elitist attitudes of the Democratic Party and its media supporters. Recent sneering comments by New York Times columnist David Brooks and Biden ally Jonathan Capehart focused on the UFC event hosted on the South Lawn Sunday.

“This is a disgrace to the White House and to the people’s home,” Capehart declared on PBS. “It’s completely outrageous this occurred.”

“Who were the artists that John F. Kennedy brought to the White House?” Brooks concurred. “W.H. Auden, Robert Frost, Jerome Robbins, Leonard Bernstein—and now we’re in a siege. No one claims America is in a cultural decline.”

It seems these condescending analysts overlook that one of America’s most notable presidents, Teddy Roosevelt, often hosted martial arts competitions at the White House.

Similar to Trump, Roosevelt viewed physical bravery and competitive spirit as fundamental American traits. Individuals like Brooks and Capehart reveal a lack of courage rather than the sophistication they wish to project. How embarrassing for them!

Happy Birthday, Mr. President, and cheers to America’s 250th anniversary! Here’s to a great year ahead, naysayers included!
