Detroit Sisters Charged in Restaurant Stabbing Incident

In a disturbing incident, two sisters from Detroit have been charged for allegedly stabbing an employee at a chicken restaurant over a mix-up with their order. One of the sisters, in a particularly tense scenario, was nine months pregnant at the time.

Brianna and Chielianna Long are facing serious charges following the May 30 event, which include assault with intent to commit murder, as well as other lesser assault charges. They have both asserted their innocence amidst the growing allegations.

Reports indicate that the sisters entered the restaurant and, after the order was not correct, they jumped behind the counter and attacked a 23-year-old employee.

Prosecutors claim that the sisters hurled various objects at the staff, chased them around the establishment, and threatened the employees with hot oil and other items. It was even reported that during the altercation, one sister proclaimed, “I’m going to kill you.”

While the chaos unfolded, Chielianna allegedly stabbed the employee in the stomach with a knife. After being injured, the employee managed to escape and sought refuge in a random car while calling for help. She later required hospitalization and surgery due to her injuries.

Brianna, 29, and Chielianna, 26, managed to flee the scene initially but were later taken into custody by the police. In an attempt to counter the narrative, the sisters’ defense argued in court that the employee provoked the situation, claiming she “didn’t care” about the order mistake and had instigated the fight by throwing items first.

Interestingly, ClickonDetroit reported that Brianna had given birth just four days before her court appearance, and she mentioned to the judge that she had a newborn baby at home. Both sisters are pleading not guilty, with Brianna held on a $25,000 cash bail and Chielianna on $100,000.
