Trump Announces Major Fireworks Show for July 4th in D.C.
President Trump declared on Monday that Washington, D.C. will host the “largest fireworks show in history” to commemorate America’s 55th anniversary.
He shared details about a significant event called “TRIBUTE TO AMERICA,” set to take place at the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument, starting at 7 p.m. Eastern time. “It’ll be a fantastic Trump rally,” he said, emphasizing the importance of the gathering.
The celebration, as President Trump described, aims to honor “our people, our spirit, our strength, our resolve, and our victories.”
He noted that with the Lincoln Memorial as a backdrop, over 300 members of various military bands, orchestras, and ceremonial units will perform patriotic and classic American songs. “This will be historic,” he remarked, highlighting the performance’s significance as the largest joint military music event ever.
Additionally, President Trump mentioned an air show featuring top military pilots and equipment. He is also expected to give a keynote address before the event culminates in the impressive fireworks display.
“To wrap up the program, I’ll stage the biggest fireworks show ever seen in our nation’s capital,” he declared. “Don’t miss it. I’ll see you in Washington, D.C. on July 4th.”
This grand event comes on the heels of Trump’s initiatives to enhance the safety and beauty of D.C., which include restoring various monuments and addressing crime issues. Even some of his critics have admitted that the upgraded Reflecting Pool is quite impressive.
The upcoming celebration follows last month’s “Rededicate 250” event, which included worship and the UFC Freedom 250 event held recently, gearing up for future celebrations like the Great American State Fair.
