President Trump Marks 80th Birthday with Celebrations and Events
President Donald Trump celebrates turning 80 on Sunday, keeping an active schedule. Hours before he heads for Evian-les-Bains, France for the G7, world leaders and U.S. politicians took to social media to extend their birthday wishes.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu noted that Trump’s birthday “comes at an auspicious time.” In his message, he stated, “America celebrates 250 years of freedom. We are a great country built on freedom and faith.” He also wished the President “continued strength and vitality” as he leads America toward a brighter future and enhances the U.S.-Israel alliance.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog joined in the birthday wishes, expressing that Trump’s journey to the White House showcases the American Dream and his determination. He referenced Jewish tradition, saying that reaching 80 brings unique talent, wishing Trump many happy returns filled with blessings.
House Speaker Mike Johnson and members of the Cabinet also recognized Trump’s birthday with their own messages of support and congratulations.
Amidst these celebrations, Trump is immersed in a busy agenda. He’s anticipated to sign a deal with Iran on Sunday and later that evening will host the inaugural UFC America 250 event at the White House. This event features a seven-fight main card, highlighted by a match between undefeated fighters Ilya Topria and Justin Gaethje.
On Monday, the President is set to travel to France for a series of meetings leading up to the G7 summit on Wednesday. His schedule includes bilateral talks with French President Emmanuel Macron and interactions with other leaders, including those from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Wednesday will see a flurry of meetings, including discussions with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
