Gabriela Moura at the 2026 FIFA World Cup

Model and influencer Gabriela Moura, known for her Sports Illustrated swimsuit appearances, was present for the opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, featuring Brazil and Morocco.

After the game, which ended in a 1-1 tie at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, the 21-year-old Brazilian expressed her fervor for her homeland. She shared on social media, “Amo sel brasileira,” translating to “I love being Brazilian.”

Before the match, she posted a TikTok video of herself dancing, accompanied by the words, “I feel like Brazil is winning today.”

Looking ahead, Brazil is set to play Haiti in Philadelphia on June 19, followed by a match against Scotland in Miami on June 24.

Moura frequently communicates her pride in her Brazilian heritage across her social media platforms. She moved to the United States at 17 to pursue a dream in fashion, and she’s now thriving as a content creator in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

With around 12 million followers on TikTok and 3.1 million on Instagram, Moura has built a significant audience.

In 2026, she made her debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue after heading to Fort Myers, Florida, for the magazine’s first photo shoot. She also took part in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show during Swim Week in Miami Beach in May.

Before her success with Sports Illustrated, she walked the runway at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Additionally, Moura has formed partnerships with well-known brands such as Neutrogena, YSL, and L’Oreal.

Since 2023, she has been in a relationship with content creator Josh Richards, who co-hosts a podcast called BFFs.
