TNA Wrestling releases Tommy Dreamer and Tessa Blanchard in roster changes

Changes at Total Nonstop Action Wrestling

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) made more adjustments to its roster on Wednesday.

Anthem Sports & Entertainment, TNA’s parent company, shared in a press release that wrestling icon Tommy Dreamer and former TNA World Champion Tessa Blanchard have officially left the organization. Blanchard’s exit was confirmed on Tuesday.

“TNA Wrestling today announced workforce reductions aimed at streamlining operations and increasing strategic focus and profitability,” the statement read. They also mentioned immediate shifts in TNA’s creative leadership. Dreamer, who played a role in both the creative and talent relations teams, is parting ways with the company after mutual agreement.

“TNA Wrestling has also reached an agreement regarding the release of Tessa Blanchard. We wish Tessa, Tommy, and others the best in their future endeavors,” the announcement continued.

In an emotional interview earlier Wednesday, Dreamer revealed his decision to step back. Additionally, wrestler Sami Callihan also stated he is leaving the company. In a post on X, Callihan expressed surprise—he thought he would be offered a creative role instead. “I’m parting ways with TNA. Well… on to my next adventure,” he wrote while encouraging fans to check out Pro Wrestling Revolver.

The departures of Dreamer, Blanchard, and Callihan add to a series of recent changes within TNA. Earlier this month, the organization also mentioned that Steve Maclin and Myra Grace would be leaving.
