Tanja, Deniz Undav's wife, enjoys the World Cup match between Germany and Ivory Coast.

The German men’s soccer team faced a tough start in their World Cup match against Ivory Coast on June 20. They fell behind 1-0 after Franck Kessier’s goal in the 30th minute. Despite being favored to win, Germany struggled to capitalize on several opportunities and went into halftime trailing.

In the second half, coach Julian Nagelsmann made a pivotal change. He substituted Jamal Musiala with VfB Stuttgart forward Deniz Undav in the 60th minute. This decision turned the game around for Germany.

Undav, who wasn’t widely known in international soccer before this match, scored the two crucial goals that led to Germany’s victory. His first goal tied the game in the 68th minute, and the second came just before the final whistle in the 94th minute.

While Germany revels in Undav’s achievement, his greatest supporter is undoubtedly his wife, Tanya. The couple married in 2021 and welcomed their daughter in 2024.

Although Tanja isn’t at the World Cup, she expressed her pride during the match with a post on her Instagram story. She shared a moment of herself watching the game, captioned with “😍❤️.”

In a subsequent story, she captured Deniz celebrating his second goal, adding the caption, “Too much for my heart 😭❤️ Unbelievable 🔥.” It’s clear that she is ecstatic about his performance, along with many other German fans.
