Defense Researcher Proposes US Requires a New 9/11 After Iran Agreement

Many Israeli citizens express discontent with the recent agreement involving Iran, suggesting that the United States might need to confront a scenario where a significant number of Americans could lose their lives.

Beni Sabti, a defense analyst from Israel, mentioned that the U.S. might require an attack to rekindle support for Israel and reinforce the understanding of who their true allies are. He posted this on X, noting that perhaps the U.S. needs an event akin to another Pearl Harbor or 9/11 to clarify the distinction between allies and enemies.

This message has since been modified and replaced with a revised statement, expressing similar sentiments but in a more polished manner.

The new statement reads: “We wish the U.S. good luck in addressing the terrorists from the Iranian regime. We hope the U.S. government remembers who is the enemy and who is the friend.”

Sabti did not reply to inquiries for further comment.

American journalist Glenn Greenwald addressed the statements in a separate post, citing claims about the 9/11 attacks and challenging the validity of blaming Iran. He pointed out that according to official reports, Iran was not involved in that tragedy, and instead, highlighted that the countries most tied to the 9/11 attackers had been labeled as “our closest partners.”

Criticism of the Iran Deal by Israel

While the U.S. is attempting to negotiate peace with Iran, both President Trump and Vice President Vance have voiced criticism regarding Israel’s recent military actions in Lebanon.

“Bibi, you might consider a gentler strategy,” Trump remarked during a G7 summit, suggesting that harmless drone activity shouldn’t necessitate destruction in Beirut.

Vance added that Trump, being the only leader supportive of Israel globally, hopes to avoid conflict with such a crucial ally. He stated that had he been part of the Israeli cabinet, things might have been approached differently.

These comments have drawn fire from commentators who support Israel.

Mark Levin, a pro-Israel host, noted how quickly Israel’s status seemed to shift from a trusted ally to a difficult partner under pressure from negotiations.

Similarly, Ben Shapiro expressed that the U.S. might be undermining its allies by dealing with Iran, emphasizing that the signing events planned should be reconsidered.

Neither Levin nor Shapiro commented immediately upon requests for clarification.

Sabti also articulated his concerns regarding U.S. negotiations in subsequent posts.

Sabti stated plainly that the Iranian regime would remain unsatisfied with any agreement made with the U.S.

This criticism emerges alongside a backdrop of increased Israeli military actions against Lebanon.

Following these tensions, Iran announced plans to shut down the Strait of Hormuz, accusing Israel of breaching a newly established ceasefire.

Prior incidents have reportedly resulted in significant casualties, including a notable Israeli military operation that resulted in considerable loss of life.

Both Pearl Harbor and September 11th are historical events that saw catastrophic loss of life, with the former resulting in over 2,400 American deaths during Japan’s surprise attack.

In reference to the September 11 attacks, approximately 3,000 individuals died, which left profound scars on the nation and remains a pivotal moment remembered deeply by many.

Historically, both attacks were stark reminders of the vulnerabilities faced by the United States, evoking strong sentiments and calls for unity in challenging times.
