This week marks an important milestone for Taylor Sheridan as he ventures further into streaming.
On June 24, the Academy of Country Music announced that Landman has won the AMC Film Award (Congrats to the team!). Additionally, Paramount+ has confirmed a second season for the popular spinoff, Dutton Ranch.
The season one finale of Dutton Ranch (“El Padrino”) is set to release on July 3, but there’s still some wait ahead for the season three premiere of Landman.
If you’re on the lookout for something to fill your viewing gaps, check out official clips on YouTube, like the “M-Tex oil crew vest” or “Landman’s Best Advice for Fatherhood.”
So, when can we expect new episodes of Landman? Here’s what we know so far.
Will there be a new episode of Landman tonight (June 28)?
Sadly, there won’t be new episodes of Landman airing on Paramount+ this week. The show has been on a break since the season two finale was released on January 18, 2026.
Has Landman been renewed for a third season?
Absolutely! Paramount confirmed the renewal of Landman for a third season scheduled for December 2025, noting the show’s impressive viewership.
“Season 2 achieved record numbers for Paramount+, with the premiere episode streaming over 9.2 million times in just two days,” the network announced in a release. This was a 262% increase in viewership from the first season premiere, making it the most-watched premiere of an original series on Paramount+.
What do we know about the release date for season 3?
An official release date hasn’t been set yet. The first two seasons of Landman launched in November 2024 and 2025, leading many to speculate about a November 2026 return. However, it seems that might be a bit too hopeful.
So while there’s still time in late 2026, it seems more realistic that Landman Season 3 will come back in early 2027.

No, it’s a bit different now. Currently, the streamer does not have a free trial available.
