A mug shot has emerged of Chiale Campbell, the 41-year-old brother of Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Calais Campbell, who has been charged with murder following the death of their mother, Natile Campbell, in Atlanta on Tuesday.

Authorities discovered Natile, aged 71, unresponsive in her Buckhead townhome during a welfare check initiated by a concerned relative, according to Lt. Christopher Butler.

The arrest warrant states that Chiale, a former football player from Colorado State University, allegedly murdered his mother in a particularly violent manner.

Chiale faces several charges: murder, aggravated assault, and illegal possession of a firearm or knife while committing a felony, based on jail records seen by the media.

The official autopsy results are still pending.

It remains unclear if Chiale resided in the townhome.

Earlier, officers had visited Natile’s home due to reports concerning Chiale’s potential mental health struggles.

“A quick glance at the history indicates there was a report back in April regarding a possible arson incident at this address,” Lt. Butler remarked. “There are indications that the individual may have mental health challenges.”

The Campbell family has publicly requested privacy during this challenging time.

“The Campbell family is heartbroken over the loss of our matriarch, Mrs. Natile Campbell,” they stated. “While the circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation, we find solace in knowing she has been reunited with our father and is resting in peace.”

“We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate our grief, both individually and as a family.”

Curry, 39, who is about to embark on his 19th NFL season, joined the Ravens with a one-year deal worth $5.5 million in April.

The Ravens expressed their sorrow, extending condolences and support to Curry’s family. They requested that everyone respects their privacy during this incredibly difficult period.

The Cardinals, where Curry played for ten seasons, also shared their condolences.

Curry established the Charles Richard Campbell Foundation alongside his mother and his seven brothers. He’s recognized for his community efforts, having been awarded the 2019 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year for his work in teaching vital life skills to youth.
