Tucker Carlson Advocates for a New Political Movement
Tucker Carlson, co-founder of the Daily Caller and former Fox News host, has criticized the current political parties for their uniformity and is calling for the creation of a new third party for voters.
In a recent interview with the Columbia Journalism Review (CJR), Carlson expressed his willingness to collaborate with other anti-war voices. He emphasized that the political establishment seems to be aligned on major issues like war and finance. “The parties are firmly united with each other on these issues,” he stated. “It’s not a democracy. It’s a one-party state masquerading as a democracy, and that needs to be broken.”
Carlson pointed out that significant issues like war and financial interests are what truly matter. “Where does the money come from? Where does it go? And who gets killed?” he asked. His remarks reflected a deep concern for the common citizen, particularly those struggling financially.
Tucker Carlson announces plans to form third political party:
“There needs to be an honest effort to understand what benefits the country…If you’re making $60,000 a year, you’ve been degraded…The promise of your children’s lives is probably gone. No one seems to care…”

He is convinced that a new political movement is on the horizon. “There’s going to be a third party, and I’m going to do everything in my power to make that happen,” he announced confidently.
Carlson reflected on the past few months, noting the disturbing similarities in foreign policy between Donald Trump and Chuck Schumer. “If you vote for Trump and you end up in a regime change war, and Chuck Schumer is a strong supporter of Trump’s foreign policy, then you need a choice,” he argued. “Or give up and let the most unscrupulous people rule you. And I’m too young for that. We need a third party.”
When CJR pressed him for more clarity, he reiterated his commitment to aiding in the formation of a third party. He wants to see genuine efforts to identify what would truly benefit the nation.

Carlson expressed concern about the plight of average Americans, highlighting that many earning $60,000 a year face degradation in their quality of life. He questioned the government’s priorities and stated, “The U.S. government should prioritize the welfare of its citizens.”
When asked if he would run as a candidate for this new political party, he responded, “I don’t want to be a candidate.” In a previous interview with the New York Times, he joked about running on a “pro-patriarchy ticket” to push back against gaining unwanted attention.
In a recent episode of the “Uncensorable” podcast, Carlson stated he is “done” with the Republican Party and indicated he wouldn’t support either major party in future elections. He has been a steadfast supporter of the Republican Party for many years, but believes it is now headed in the “wrong direction.”
