U.S. Navy Helicopter Emergency Incident

An MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, part of the aircraft carrier George H.W. Bush, made an emergency landing in the Arabian Sea early Wednesday morning, leaving one crew member unaccounted for.

This happened around 3:30 a.m. ET, as reported by the U.S. 5th Fleet.

Fortunately, three of the four crew members were safely rescued and are now in stable condition aboard the carrier, according to officials. The identities of the missing crew member have not yet been disclosed.

U.S. Navy units in the vicinity are currently engaged in search and rescue efforts for the remaining crew member.

Officials noted that there is no indication that the forced landing was due to any hostile activity. The cause of this incident is still under investigation.
