Clerics in Iran get ready to conduct funeral services for the deceased Ayatollah

Iran’s leadership is gearing up for an extensive series of funeral ceremonies for the late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, signifying the conclusion of his long-standing rule.

The memorial activities are scheduled to unfold from July 4 to July 9.

This follows his death, which resulted from U.S. and Israeli attacks earlier this year on February 28, marking the initial actions of Operation Epic Fury.

On that day, President Donald Trump acknowledged his passing publicly, stating on Truth Social, “one of the most evil people in History, is dead.”

Officials are reportedly mobilizing millions, preparing mosques and educational institutions to accommodate attendees. Delegates from countries such as Russia, China, Pakistan, and Iraq have been invited, and the multi-day observance is expected to attract as many as 20 million mourners under Iran’s new leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.

The planned ceremonies seem to be a significant demonstration of loyalty to the Islamic regime.
