On Wednesday night, former President Donald Trump took a jab at some of his celebrity critics by releasing an AI-generated video that pokes fun at them for what he calls “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” In this video, Trump portrays himself as “Dr. Trump,” suggesting to those afflicted with TDS to “stop the fake news” and drink Diet Coke for relief.

“Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with TDS? The symptoms are relentless. Luckily, I’m Dr. Trump, and I’ve got a treatment plan,” says Trump’s AI avatar, while the reassuring background music resembles that of a pharmaceutical commercial.

“Let’s check in with my patients,” the AI version of Trump adds, leading into a montage of fictional testimonials from AI-generated characters resembling several left-leaning celebrities who have openly criticized him.

The first fake testimonial features an AI version of Rosie O’Donnell saying, “I’ve been struggling for more than 10 years. After listening to Dr. Trump, I’m beginning to see some progress.”

“I’ve been dealing with this for years,” claims an AI representation of John Leguizamo, who adds he “didn’t think there was a solution” until he “saw this video on TV.”

An AI-generated Whoopi Goldberg from the show The View states: “This will stay with me for life…but after trying the treatment plan, I noticed a change.”

Trump’s AI character remarks, “I wasn’t sure that I could really help these folks. They seemed like such a stretch.”

The video transitions to an AI version of actor Edward Norton. He states, “I had no clue how much this was affecting my life.” In real life, Norton, once a prominent figure in the ’90s, adds: “My career has slowed down. I hardly recognize myself anymore. I just needed some support.”

Next, an AI Robert De Niro appears, lamenting, “I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, I was often angry, making those around me miserable,” followed by Julia Roberts admitting, “I feel like I’ve aged two decades in the last two years,” expressing real concern for her future.

The video wraps up with Trump’s character asserting, “The solution is straightforward. Turn off the fake news. Say your prayers. And when you’re feeling anxious, drink a Diet Coke like me; you’ll notice changes in your life.”
