Giants Receiver Attends Swift and Kelce Wedding
JuJu Smith-Schuster, the Giants’ wide receiver, was seen at the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden on Friday, accompanied by his fiancée, Laura Crook.
Interestingly, Crook was also spotted leaving the Ritz-Carlton Nomad in a Sau Lee dress, which was worn by Swift’s close friend Abigail Anderson as well. Coincidence, right?
The dress featured a beige corset top adorned with floral designs and a brown silk skirt with ruching details.
Smith-Schuster and Kelce were teammates on the Chiefs during the 2022 season, where they celebrated a Super Bowl victory against the Eagles. The receiver returned to the team for two more seasons afterward.
Just last month, Smith-Schuster signed with the Giants.
Abigail Anderson, who wore the same dress, is famously known as Taylor Swift’s longtime best friend, mentioned in her hit song “Fifteen,” where Swift sings about sitting next to a redhead named Abigail in class.
As for Swift and Kelce’s wedding, they opted for a non-traditional approach, choosing not to have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Travis’ older brother, Jason Kelce, attended to Swift, while Taylor’s younger brother, Austin Swift, was her “person of honor.”
The couple’s wedding attire was created by Christian Dior Haute Couture and Jonathan Anderson, with custom shoes designed by Christian Louboutin and Cartier jewelry completing Swift’s look.
The celebration got a public nod when Madison Square Garden announced the event with a pink screen reading “JUST&T MARRIED!” outside the venue.
Swift and Kelce revealed their engagement last August, a moment that captured widespread attention.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter gave the engagement a social media spotlight, noting the significant influence the couple holds in both music and sports.
Notably, other Chiefs players included prominent figures such as quarterback Patrick Mahomes, defensive tackle Chris Jones, and running back Kareem Hunt.
