Adam Sandler advises Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to ‘Kiss Whenever You Can’ while officiating a wedding, coach mentions.

Wedding Officiated by Adam Sandler

Andy Reid, coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, recently shared that Adam Sandler officiated the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce with a mix of humor and sensitivity.

In a CNN interview, Reid explained that Sandler provided the couple with some heartfelt advice during their ceremony on July 3, just before they officially tied the knot. “He said, ‘Kiss every chance you have, every single day,’” Reid recounted. “So whether you’re going to bed or going to work… go ahead and kiss her.”

Reid expressed that he found this straightforward advice quite touching. “In its simplest form, really, was touching that way,” he said during the interview.

On Sunday, a Deseret News reporter named Krysyan Edler shared a video on social media where Reid praised Sandler again while attending an event for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Utah.

“In a simple, hysterical way, he was phenomenal… he’s crazy, but he did a great job marrying them with a lot of humor,” Reid noted. He also emphasized that the advice to keep kissing was solid. “Hard to argue with, ‘give your wife a kiss,’ or your wife gives you a kiss,” he remarked.

Reid went on to encourage couples to show affection regularly. “Make sure you do it every day, every minute, if you have an opportunity to do it, knock it out, and you won’t have problems,” he concluded.

Swift and Kelce celebrated their marriage in a star-studded event on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Sandler, who has been a long-time admirer of Swift, even cast Kelce in his 2025 film “Happy Gilmore 2.” He has been married to his wife, Jackie Titone Sandler, for about 23 years.
