A Colorado mother accused of killing two young children and seriously injuring a third made her first court appearance in London on Monday, where she was arrested over the weekend.
Kimberly Singler, 35, appeared in Westminster Magistrates Court to face extradition to the United States on charges of two counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder, three counts of child abuse and one count of assault.
Singler went missing as Colorado police prepared to make an arrest in the deaths of her 9-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son, who were found murdered in a robbery on Dec. 19. It became unknown.

Singler suffered minor injuries, and her injured 11-year-old daughter was hospitalized for several days before being released.

Singler was initially treated as a crime victim and cooperated with police. But when her officers tried to arrest her on December 26, they were unable to find her.
