Former President Donald Trump will be absent from the CNN Republican presidential primary debate in Des Moines, Iowa, next week. The live debate will be broadcast on January 10th at 9pm ET, according to . CNN, fox news channel will host a live town hall event with Trump in Des Moines from 9:00pm to 10:00pm ET on the same day.
CNN is shown Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, and Trump have each announced they have qualified to participate in a debate in the Hawkeye State.
DeSantis and Haley are also expected to participate.

The CNN debate will be moderated by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash and is not affiliated with the RNC. Bret Bayer and Martha McCollum will host Fox News Channel's town hall event with Trump.
Trump enjoys a decisive lead over the rest of the Republican primary field poll. The race for the Republican presidential nomination will begin later this month. January 15th Iowa caucuses.
